Awesome Waterfall
It was two years ago when my friends and fun and explore the beauty of Tinago waterfalls. Before I left my country I enjoyed so much with friends and this awesome falls is one of our destinations. This waterfall is located at Iligan City part of Lanao del Norte in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. We called this Tinago ( Filipino word ) means hidden ( English word ) falls because it is hidden in a deep ravine. It is one of the main tourist attractions in Iligan, a city known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls. Trekking to the falls requires approximately 500 descending steps called the winding staircase. The height of this falls is approximately 240 feet (73 m) high. It has a very cold waters cascading beautifully into a deep and calm basin-like pool which appears like a blue-colored lagoon. Under the falls is a small cave where people can enter and listen to the rumbling waters. The foot of the falls is a very ideal place for swimming. The place also has man-made swimming pools for children. It is truly a majestic place with perfect atmosphere and a nice place to stay. All of my friends enjoy so much when we went to the small cave and took few pictures in there.
