Yesterday, my friend and I attended a women’s abuse seminar at Immigrant Services Center. The seminar started at 5:30 until 8:30 in the evening. There are many participants who attended the seminars and most of us are immigrants. The facilitator is very smart and she explained to us how to help the person. You have to start with a heart, give your genuine concern and care to a person. I learned many things from the seminar and I am so thankful to her. After the seminar, I rush home because it was cold outside. I forgot to wear jacket so I need to go home.

September is fast approaching. It is the time for children to get ready for school. My niece is very excited to buy a new school supplies for school. According to her, she wants to buy a halloween prop too. My sister advised her to buy the school stuffs first and new clothes to wear at school. Time moves so fast. I can’t believe winter is coming. Summer is about to end and after the season of fall, the snow will about to fall. I don’t like cold season but what can I do.
